The software maker releases nine patches in this month's Patch Tuesday, many of them related to ActiveX controls.

Georgian blogger blames KGB in attack that downed Twitter and affected his accounts on Facebook, Blogger, and LiveJournal.

Twitter was offline for hours after suffering a distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack that targeted one user. Facebook and some Google sites also were hit. What happened and why?
