Hit the road with TomTom

TomTom hit the road running with its latest offering, which steered us so well we had to give it an Editors' Choice award. The TomTom Go 740 Live is the manufacturer's first connected-GPS device, offering up-to-the-minute traffic data, weather forecasts, fuel prices, and Local Search powered by Google. Its menus are a little more clunky than our other favorite, the Garmin Nuvi 880, but it's superior to the Garmin in other areas.
