Standard def lives

You can't get a decent HD camcorder with a zoom lens for less than about $500, so what's left for you if your budget will only stretch to about $300? Something like the Canon FS200. Though it isn't perfect, it's one of the better options available.

I'm looking for another hobby to start up, something I can do when I want, not when the clouds allow. So, I'm going to get a camera for my birthday in September, (but if I see a good offer before that I might just have to grab it).
