Sell your iPhone 3G at a profit

Apple says it's sold 1 million units of its new iPhone, the 3G S, and undoubtedly many of those buyers were upgrading from the previous iPhone model. So what to do with that old phone? Rick Broida, who runs CNET's Cheapskate blog, explains how that rickety iPhone 3G can be sold online for up to $400, meaning it can actually be profitable to upgrade (assuming you get the subsidized price from AT&T on the new phone). If you've got an older iPhone and have not been tempted to upgrade because of the whole economic-recession thing, this might be just the advice you've been looking for.
