Wii adapter lets you BYO retro video game controller
Sure, we really liked the Nyko Wing Wireless Classic Controller for use with the Nintendo Wii, but if we could choose any controller to use with Virtual Console games, it would be the originals themselves. Developer Komodo may have come up with a device that could satisfy these desires. With the Retro Adapter (to be distributed by Innex), you'll be able to use original NES, Super Nintendo, and Nintendo 64 controllers with Wii Virtual Console games. Read more

Eric Franklin Tony Hawk gets a new skateboard

The last Tony Hawk game I played was Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 on the Dreamcast. Getting good enough to pull off trick after trick in succession in that game was close to gaming nirvana for me. Since then, the series has had its ups and downs, and with strong competition from EA's Skate series, Activision--publisher of all things Tony Hawk--needs to find new ways to get players excited again about the once-dominant Tony Hawk brand. Hopefully for them, they've succeeded. Tony Hawk Ride, the latest entry in the franchise, will be available for the 2009 holiday season for the Wii, Xbox 360, and PS3. Read more

Getting on Xbox Live

My wife just got me a 360 and I am trying to figure out the best way to set up Live access. I have an AT&T DSL connection, with my computer being plugged directly into the wall jack. My 360 is in another room. Is there a way for me to connect the two so I can access Live? Appreciate any help.  Read more
