Google reads my blogs again, uses my e-book model
OK, so the great and powerful GOOG probably didn't give a lot of thought to my model of electronically distributing textbooks for use on commodity netbooks when they announced their upcoming e-book initiative.
Bing: Not on my teachers' short list
So Bing, the much-hyped new search tool from Microsoft, is live. As promised, I took it for a spin today from the perspective of the student/teacher looking to extract something relevant from the web and access information in new and more useful ways.
An idea for older students using the Classmate
This weekend, I had to set my Classmate aside for a while, putting my experiment temporarily on hold while I put together some large assessments and worked on scheduling.
