Microsoft puts an 18-month cap on Windows 7 to XP downgrades
Mary Jo Foley: Microsoft has gone public with a piece of its Windows 7 to XP downgrade guarantee that it refused to make official until yesterday: The end date. It appears the company is planning to allow volume licensees to downgrade to XP from Windows 7 until April 2011 at the latest.
