On the flipside of applications gone wrong is a preview of one very important software package gone right. Last week, Microsoft finalized the Windows 7 code, declaring it RTM (ready-to-manufacture) and passing it along for, you know, manufacturing. For all intents and purposes, the overhaul to Microsoft's newest operating system is done. It just won't be available for some months while it's being loaded onto new computers, packaged onto CDs, and otherwise prepped for fanfare and release.
