Here's a blast from the past... This was originally posted back in 2007. Classmates and 1:1 have come a long ways, haven't they? While the United States and other established markets are not the target for Intel's Classmate PC, I sincerely hope they bring something like this to the States.

Since I've been using the heck out of Google Gears to access my offline documents/email while I'm on vacation and largely Internet-less (and yes, it is terrible, but at least the sunsets are nice here), here's a repost of an article about Google Gears...
